Carbon Nanotube researchers win NanoVic Prize

Carbon Nanotube researchers win NanoVic Prize – a team from scientists from CSIRO and the NanoTech Institute of the University of Texas has won the 2006 NanoVic Prize for Innovation in Nanotechnology for its work on the development of carbon nanotube yarns and transparent sheets

The award follows the team’s success in demonstrating that synthetic carbon nanotubes can be assembled into transparent sheets that are stronger than stell sheets of the same weight. Read more at: http://www.csiro.au/csiro/content/standard
