Dr Gupta met with representatives from the National Advisory Council on Innovation, the Department of Science and Technology, the CSIR, The Innovation Hub and also the Agricultural Research Council. In addition, a field trip was undertaken to KwaZulu-Natal where Dr Gupta interacted with an innovative farmer and also the Farmers Support Group from the University of KwaZulu-Natal
