This is the second annual conference bringing together representatives from leading commercial, government and research organisations across Africa and Europe, to bridge the digital divide by sharing knowledge, experience, lessons learnt and good practice.

Core thematic priorities for the conference are:

  • ehealth - services to citizens, personalised healthcare;
  • technology enhanced learning and information and communication technology (ICT) skills;
  • open source software - applications;
  • ict for e-inclusion and e-accessibility - case studies and policy issues; einfrastructures - issues, applications and technologies;
  • ICT for environmental risk management;
  • networked enterprise - future forms of organisations and applications; and
  • e-government & e-democracy - services to citizens and business.
